We have a well-equipped library with current law books and internet facilities. Our e-library is at hand to provide all the decided cases. We also have Law-pavilion website that provides all the cases electronically, thereby making our legal research current and accurate.

He is the Principal Partner of the Law Firm. A 1994 graduate of University of Maiduguri, Borno State. Has been in active and unbroken private Legal Practice since his call to the Bar in 1995. Has worked in Otteh A. Idoko & Co., Port-Harcourt (1995-1996), Aguma & Co., Port Harcourt (1996-2020), J. K. Gadzama (SAN) & Co., Maiduguri and Abuja (2001-2004), M. A. Ebute & Co., Abuja (2005-2012). He is also the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Bar & Bench Publishers, authors and publishers of law/practice books. He was the 24th Chairman of Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Abuja Branch (Unity Bar) in 2021 – 2022.

GEORGE IBRAHIM, Esq.

George Ibrahim had a Bachelor of Laws Degree from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State in the year 2005. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in November 2007. He went for his compulsory NYSC Scheme in 2005/2006 and served with the Borno State Ministry of Justice, Maiduguri. He holds LLM from Nasarawa State University, Keffi. He cut his teeth in the law firm of S.A. Agada & Co in Ankpa, Kogi State. He thereafter moved to Abuja and was the Head of Chambers during his time at Osinaike & Associates before joining the law firm of Ocholi James SAN & Associates. He stayed behind for two years in Ocholi James SAN & Associates in order to sustain the legacy of the Late Ocholi James SAN after his tragic death in 2016 while serving as Minister of State for Labour and Employment during the first tenure of President Muhammadu Buhari. He joined the firm of O.J. Onoja (SAN) & Associates in 2018 as Head of Chambers and the position he currently occupies till date. He has appeared in all superior courts of records across various jurisdictions. He has great passion for Advocacy and Court room litigation. He is a skilled advocate, well versed in handling criminal, commercial and civil litigation, election petition, energy law practice, industrial and labour dispute, aviation, maritime and cabotage matters, corporate practice and security & investment. His areas of interest is advocacy, criminal and civil litigation, consultancy and general law practice.

AGBONIKA OGUCHE, Esq.

Senior associate

Oguche Agbonika attended Ahmadu Bello University and graduated in 2009. He thereafter proceeded to the Nigerian Law School, Lagos Campus and was called to Nigerian Bar in 2010. He obtained his LLM from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in 2016. He began his professional career as a Corp Legal Officer in the Ministry of Justice where he served under the National Youth Service Corp in 2011. He worked in the law firm of Olagoke O. Fakunle SAN & Co Akure, Ondo State from 2011-2017. He then proceeded to Abuja and had a brief stint with Firma Nexus LP before joining the law firm of O.J. Onoja (SAN) & Associates. He enjoys advocacy and has flair for legal research and brief writing. His area of experience and expertise spans across civil law and criminal litigation, real estate, banking and corporate law practice, intellectual property, commercial agreements, oil and gas and information technology law. He is also a Chief Editor at Bar and Bench House, authors and publishers of law books.

JOSEPH ABAH AMEH, Esq.

Abah Joseph Ameh, Esq had a Bachelor of Laws in Law from the University of Nigeria Nsukka in 2010. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in February 2012. He went for his compulsory NYSC Scheme in 2011/2012 in Maiduguri, Borno State and served with Lekan Akintola & Co. Thereafter, in 2012 upon completion of his NYSC he joined the law firm. He is also an Assistant Editor Bar & Bench Publishers, authors and Publishers of Law Books.

EMMANUEL ONOJA, Esq.

ASSOCIATE

Emmanuel Onoja graduated from University of Maiduguri in 2013 from where he obtained his LL.B (Hons), proceeded to the Nigerian Law School and was called to the Bar in 2014. He is a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered), Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitration (ACIArb) UK and also a student member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).

Praise Ahiaba obtained her bachelor of laws degree from the prestigious Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, proceeded to the Nigerian Law School and was called to bar. She began her legal practice at the law firm O.J. Onoja, SAN & Associates under the National Youth Service Corps scheme and has since then been a committed member of the team.

The vibrant and enthusiastic young professional is result driven and passionate about assisting corporate entities to navigate the ever-dynamic regulatory terrain as they conduct transactions in the local and international market.

She is an Associate of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators (A.CArb).
